Please note, if you have been asked to write candidate example scripts, please jump to Work package 1b.
The materials for this work package provide an opportunity for participants to mark candidate responses. To help make the most out of the marking activity, participants will be focusing on particular sections and/or questions of challenge or interest while still having the chance to mark all of the whole-script examples if they wish.
For this work package, you need to:
- Select the number of scripts and papers/components as indicated in the brief/contract sent out to you as part of your commission.
- Provide the marking feedback for each script/candidate response. This marking feedback is vital to allow participants to understand how marks are gained and lost. When writing the marking feedback, please make sure that:
- you provide the file name for each script (e.g., Jun24_A_0610_62_Marks_M25)
- any feedback and marks are in accordance with the published mark schemes
- it is clear in your explanations why the candidates were awarded the marks
- there is enough detail that participants do not require any further explanation.
Note: We are using the definitively marked scripts for you to select from. Marks in the definitively marked scripts cannot be changed, so you will be unable to request for these to be reviewed. If for any reason we are unable to send you the definitively marked scripts, and have to use a more general selection, we will let you know.
All of the scripts, QPs, and MSs have been uploaded for you onto Kiteworks/Base Camp.
Please note
The template you need to use is below for you to download. Please write directly into the template.
When selecting scripts, please make sure that any source materials candidates have to use in the exam, either on the exam paper or in the inserts, are still available. Often, material is removed for copyright reasons, and we have no access to this.
