Section outline

Highlighted
Participants will be discussing and developing formative feedback for one of the scripts they have marked on the course. They are expected to be explicit about how the feedback would help the candidate to improve and what they might have to do in their classrooms to ensure that the feedback is effective.
- Identify one of the lower performing scripts from those you have selected or created above for participants to focus on in order to develop their formative feedback.
- if you are developing a pack for AS/A Level, please choose a script from the AS Level as this will ensure it is relevant for all of the delegates.
-
Provide a paragraph suggesting which areas of the scripts that participants may want to focus on and brief reasons why. There is an example paragraph provided in the template below.
-
Provide a set of eight feedback statements of varying helpfulness for a formative feedback ranking activity. Participants will rank these statements in order of least to most helpful for a learner. Please ensure these feedback statements are examples that relate specifically to the syllabus but could be relevant to any paper/component or topic.
- For Face to Face and Virtual course materials: The formative feedback paragraph follows on directly from the first marking activity. Therefore the candidate response that participants need to focus their feedback on must be a response they have just marked.
